On Friday 8/15, Danny and I had the chance to go to the Twin Falls temple for a tour before it was dedicated. We went with my family of course: My Mom, sister's Rebecca, Erin, Amanda, Shannon, Niece Emma and Jenny Hoskins. The drive down was far from fun, at this point in the pregnancy both my hips and my back are "killing" me, so it was hard to get comfortable.
When we did finally get there we had basically no waiting. For those of you who have gone you know what the process is before the actual tour to the temple so no need to bore you.
I have only been in the Boise temple so I had an idea of what to expect, Danny however has never been in a temple so it was all new for him. I did expect it to be whiter....you know what I mean, more pure I guess. But it was still beautiful. The paintings were neat, but the coolest part was really the chandeliers, so big and brilliant. Danny and I both want to know how much the church forked out for those.
I also really like the Celestial room and the ceiling room. Both very spiritual and stood out in my mind. Danny's favorite part was the Celestial room and the font, but he enjoyed all of it.
After we took some pictures and then went home were our little boy was anxiously awaiting us to pick him up at the babysitters. I guess that he was good all day long, and I was so worried that he was going to be a monster, thanks Kindra for watching him!

Hey Megan! It's me! The one from Red Robin tonight. You'll notice I"m commenting at some horriffic time---this is what I do late at night :)! I just had to laugh at your wondering about the chandelier prices. I do the same thing ;)! As an interior designer I know that 300 pounds of crystal must not be cheap! But so pretty!
Anyhow--looking forward to checking in on ya from time to time. I'm, sadly, probably a better blog friend than real friend! I'm working on that! :)
All the best to you!
You went to Red Robin with some people? (Jealousy building... Just kidding.) I am so glad you guys went to the open house. Great place isn't it? Love you!
